James studied Classical Guitar Performance and Composition at the University of Omaha. He also studied Media Music Composition through The London School of Arts based in Los Angeles. James has been active as a solo artist for 30 years. He has twice been the guest soloist performing Rodrigo's famous 'Concierto de Aranjuez' with Colorado's Valley Symphony. He has also performed in an array of bands from jazz, rock/pop and Celtic with his wife, vocalist Chandriée. 

He has several CDs and collections of music available on all streaming sites. He also published 'The Guitar Composer; Writing Music for Solo Guitar'. He lives in the mountains of Colorado.
